Towering achievement
THE best new heater in London was unveiled in Pimlico this week.
Engineers took the wraps off the towering boiler that is powering more than 3,000 flats in central London.
The boiler was first installed in the 1950s but has just had a £6.5 million upgrade.
“It’s worth every penny,” said Councillor Angela Harvey.
Youngsters from Churchill Gardens Primary School, Ranelagh Road, and Pimlico sang songs about saving the planet and a plaque was unveiled. |
