Author’s Soho symposium

THE acclaimed biographer of George Orwell will speak in The Wheatsheaf pub in Rath­b­one Place on Monday.
D J Taylor, whose Orwell: The Life won the Whitbread Biography of the Year award in 2003, will talk about his new book about the “lost generation” of 1930s Soho. The free event, organised by the Sohemian Society, begins at 7.30pm
