George Galloway MP
Anti-war protest to flout terror law

LEADING political figures face arrest following plans to stage an illegal anti-war demonstration in Parliament Square on Monday.
Tony Benn, Mark Thomas, Brian Eno and George Galloway will flout controversial terror laws despite warnings they face arrest and imprisonment.
Under controversial counter terror laws all protests within a
one-kilometre of Parliament Square must be authorised.
Campaigning comedian Mark Thomas said: “What the government and police do is up to them.
“We will just ignore them and we have the moral and logical high-ground.”
A police spokesman said: “Unauthorised protests are illegal. We will act accordingly.”
