Workers lose their weekends too

• I AM sorry that Peter Cave has been disturbed by road works in Meard Street (Band on about the noise, June 8). At the same time, Peter Cave could whine for the Olympics.
Many others have to wait patiently for years to get cabling installed. Some never get it. Meanwhile, Peter Cave whines on about hard-working people who gave up their Sunday, missing their families and loved ones to serve him and the local community. Will we ever read a kind word from Peter Cave to those who give up their time to help him?
