Baraness weighs up youth offenders rehab scheme

YOUNG offenders showed a top drug tsar how they are battling their addictions by taking part in a breakthrough rehabilitation programme in Maida Vale last week.
Baroness Massey, chairwoman of the National Treatment Agency, visited the Westminster Youth Offending Team in Crompton Street to see the methods they use to help young people overcome their problems.
The Resettlement and Aftercare Provision (RAP) scheme gives youngsters, particularly those involved with substance misuse, the support, education and life skills they need to put their past behind them and move on.
