Jevon Henry
Police offer reward to break the ‘wall of silence’ in murder case

STUMPED detectives investigating the murder of a teenager from the Lisson Grove Estate have placed a £20,000 bounty on the heads of his killers.
They made a desperate television appeal on Monday for witnesses to break the “wall of silence” gripping the estate.
Jevon Henry, from St George’s RC School, was stabbed through the heart on the Lisson Grove Estate a day before his 18th birthday on January 24.
Police are hunting a member of an Asian or Arabic gang, seen fleeing the scene, who hit Jevon with a hammer.
Detective Inspector Tim Duffield investigating the murder said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has information about Jevon’s murder.
“Did you see the attack? Did you see people fleeing from the area of the attack? Do you have any information that will assist us in finding those responsible for Jevon’s murder.”
Mr Henry left the Caribbean paradise of St Lucia aged 13 to come to Lisson Grove. At the time of the attack he was holding down three part-time jobs while studying to follow in his father’s footsteps of being a mechanic.
Anyone with information should contact the incident room on 020 8358 0100 or if they wish to remain anonymous Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
