Gordon’s non-NHS teeth
• I AM delighted to see that Gordon Brown, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, chose one of the many excellent and caring dental practices in Belsize Park to have his dental treatment carried out.
Was his choice of attending a private non-NHS dentist determined by his inability to access NHS dentistry due to the abysmal funding of NHS dentistry?
If this is the case, what advice would the chancellor give to the residents of this area who do not have a large government salary yet may have difficulty in obtaining the NHS care that they wish and require and can also afford?
