• ROBERT De Niro stars in What Just Happened?, the tale of a Hollywood producer down on his luck. We watch him stagger through two weeks where he has to contend with a divorce, and get his flop flick off the ground. De Niro again shows his comic class.

• The Silence of Lorna is a quick-witted and sometimes spooky take on EU law and citizenship. Lorna is an Albanian who wants to become the legal owner of a Brussels snackbar. To do so she has to take part in a sham marriage. It is an unpleasant topic dealt with in a hold-the-nose kind of way.

• Demi Moore and Michael Caine join forces in Flawless, a scam flick in which Laura (Moore) and Hobbs (Caine) join forces to get their own back on their employers at the London Diamond Company.
