Give us a sports centre
CONCERNING Families in Focus under-14s Ampthill football
team who were the runners-up in the Regent’s Park League
(Penalty Shoot-out Thriller April 6).
Teresa Reed who is responsible for coaching the Ampthill football
team informed me of the difficulties the team have in securing
a permanent venue to play in.
One of the main problems is lighting. The King’s Cross
development should build the Somers Town community a top-notch
sports centre. The benefits are obvious; lower crime rates and
gold medals.
