Hold Boris to account
• I ENCOURAGE readers to get behind the Boris Keep Your Promise Campaign’ (www.boriskeepyourpromise.org.uk) to hold Boris Johnson to account.
In his manifesto, he pledged more than £2million of funding for rape crisis centres in London, but has failed to deliver on this, with funding being slashed to £1.4million.
Islington has the fifth highest rate of sexual offences out of the 33 London boroughs, and services such as rape crisis centres are vital, yet there is just one remaining centre for the 3.9 million women in London.
