Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 7 August 2009

Hack of an injustice

• IT doesn’t surprise me our cowardly politicians have failed to protect Gary McKinnan from American “justice” for a computer hacking crime he allegedly committed in Britain.
This shows yet again that our true masters are in Washington.
The sad irony of all this is that Mr McKinnon was only trying to hack into the “blue book” – a work of utter fiction created by the CIA to spread the ridiculous myth that aliens have made contact with us. This poor man, who could now spend the rest of his life in a federal jail, is a victim of this myth.
