Ghoul night out! Join a ghost hunt at old courthouse

BRAVE souls will have the opportunity to go ghost hunting at the Old Sessions House, Clerkenwell Green next Saturday.
The London Paranormal group will be spending the entire night at the 18th-century court house which had reputation for dishing out harsh sentences and cruel punishments.
London Paranormal founder Ian John Shillito said: “This location is definitely one of our favourites. The history alone is macabre and thought-provoking and the ghost sightings are powerful with sightings of a lonely woman, Victorian gentleman to unexplainable bangs, footsteps and moving furniture.”
The building was once the largest and busiest courthouse in England; it replaced the original Sessions House for the County of Middlesex erected in 1612 near Smithfield Market.
The present building contained court rooms, dungeons for holding prisoners and living space for the resident judges. It ceased to function as a court in 1920 and now serves as a conference and meeting centre.
If you would like to take part in the ghost hunt on August 1 contact London Paranormal Direct on 07982 230208
