Pierra Ambrosino Zongolia at the Holloway Neighbourhood Centre
Bellissimo! Italian chef causing a stir

THE new cook at the Holloway Neighbourhood Centre is causing quite a stir.
Pierra Ambrosino Zongolia has been crafting culinary masterpieces at the centre since the kitchen opened in April, and is gaining quite a reputation.
“I love food and I love doing something good for the community,” said Pierra.
“Food is very important; it’s one of the things we have to do always. If you have a nice meal your day is better.”
The centre offers subsidised food to “super seniors” who get a delicious two-course meal for £2. Diners can enjoy Pierra’s lunches every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Activities co-ordinator Eleni Joannou said: “We are making the lunch scheme as community focused as possible.”
Pierra, 44, came from Naples 10 years ago and currently lives in Islington with husband Mino and her eight-year-old son Matteo.
