Archway arts explosion
ARCHWAY will be at the centre of an arts “explosion” next week, when for the first time up to 30 artists will take over shops, restaurants and a church and open their homes to exhibit their work.
Art and craft workshops are being held for the event, Archway Open House, which is part of the Holloway Arts Festival and continues for 10 days from Thursday June 25 to Sunday July 5.
To open the event next Saturday (June 27), a special mini bus will take people from the Archway traffic island, opposite the Tube, to various venues – and on the Sunday there will be guided walks to the exhibitions.
Venues are spread around the northern part of the borough
