Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 19 June 2009

I’ve a home for two cats

• MY beloved cat Purrrple developed kidney failure and had to be put to sleep a few weeks ago, aged 15. I cannot thank everybody at Harmsworth Memorial Hospital, in Finsbury Park, enough for their kindness and consideration at such a difficult time.
Now that she is gone I thought it would be a good idea to offer a home to two short-haired cats of any age who should already know each other. So if any reader knows of two cats who need a kind, loving home would they please contact me on 020 8802 1221 between 6pm and 8pm.
They need to have been neutered, vaccinated and, preferably, microchipped, but I should be happy to reimburse the costs of these procedures if required. If a home visit (by a cat charity) is needed, I should be happy to pay for that too, plus any standard re-homing fee.
