Devil in the detail
• NO wonder your film reviewer, Dan Carrier, found Angels and Demons such a hellish experience (Angels, demons and a hellish film experience, May 15).
What with “Illumanti” and “Preferri” to get to grips with it must have been truly demonic. I think he means Illuminati and Preferiti.
Still, another Dan Brown opus (Dei?) should be on the way in a year or so and this should be plenty of time for your reviewer to either do a penitential course on symbology or exorcise the demons in his spellchecker.
