Wanted: MP tenant
• I WOULD like to ask if there are any MPs wishing to rent my flat on the Spa Green estate?
Leaseholders on the estate face service charges of up to £50,000 per flat and I thought these bills would be just the thing to claim on MPs’ expenses.
Not only would I no longer be facing bankruptcy at the hands of Homes for Islington (HfI), but the endless public money which is being poured away by the council and HfI on the legal battle ensuing over these awful bills could come to an end as well. A win-win situation!
