Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 8 May 2009

Off-colour surgeries

• HAS anyone noticed what a disgusting state Finsbury Health Centre is in?
I know there are negotiations taking place regarding its future, but the fence in front is collapsing onto the grass, thereby making the place insecure. There’s a hole in the ceiling in the vestibule. Concrete cladding is broken and the whole place hasn’t seen a coat of paint for years.
Why doesn’t Islington Council get the work done and send the bill to the NHS?
It’s all the more dreadful considering this is a health centre and should be the last word in cleanliness and hygiene.
