Don’t rush, bags of time
• THE ink was barely dry on my new lease when I got a letter asking for council tax. I can donate some of this to green schemes in the borough apparently, although there was no mention of what these schemes are.
I have since tried to order some recycling bags to help do my bit, but weeks have gone by and numerous calls been made but the bags are yet to arrive. Perhaps some of the green schemes mentioned when demanding my money could be simple things like allowing residents to recycle household waste.
