Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 27 February 2009

Plugging potholes

LAST Friday afternoon I was waiting at the bus stop on Cally Road and saw a pothole the buses had dug up. My boyfriend rang the council on the off chance and a nice man (who seemed surprised we’d bothered to report it) took the details and thanked us.
I thought nothing more of it and then imagine my surprise when the following day I spotted it’d been filled in already!
Islington Council really has come a long way in the last few years, since the Liberals came in, so credit where credit’s due!
