Jail for man who harassed women on Tube

A MAN has been jailed for a year after he was caught using a mirror to look up women’s skirts on the Tube.
British Transport Police officers arrested Kenneth Brangan, 62, of Wilton Villas, Canonbury, for breaching a sexual offences prevention order at Victoria Tube station.
In August last year he had been served with a five-year order prohibiting him from loitering at any Tube or rail station.
BTP investigating officer PC Kelly Sellers said: “Despite being arrested and ejected from Tube stations on many previous occasions, Brangan continued to harass female passengers, which is why we had the order granted against him.
“While this sort of harassment on the Tube is rare, it’s an extremely unpleasant and intimidating experience for victims.
“At the time of his arrest Brangan was in clear breach of his order and has now been jailed as a result.”
Brangan was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court just before Christmas.
