Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 19 December 2008

Nightclub nuisance

• I ATTENDED the licensing meeting and was not the least interested in the nightclub changing its “Ghetto” name (“Nightclub swaps ghetto trash for a more flowery front”, December 5).
What difference is that going to make? It will still prove a gross nuisance to residents. After listening for a short time to the diatribe of the management spokesman, James Rankin, and hearing how the police applaud the wonderful job this management is doing in its other club in Soho and several other plaudits I had to leave. The deal was done. There really was no point in us remaining.
