Hear all about it: News at the flick of a switch

IF your eyesight is too poor to read the Tribune, don’t despair. Help is at hand from an audio cassette that keeps you up to date on what’s happening locally.
Talking News Islington, which provides services for the blind and partially sighted, is celebrating its first anniversary this week.
Elizabeth Scott one of the organisers, said: “People like to know what is going on in the borough but can’t read their local paper because of poor eyesight. Our cassette provides a comprehensive report of all the local news.”
Anyone interested in receiving a copy of Talking News Islington should call Elizabeth Jones on 020 7272 5481.
