In the swim for charity
• I WOULD like to thank the Tribune for the piece about my charity swim (The lengths Laura goes to for charity, October 3). For Aspire, I have agreed to swim the length of the English Channel (22 miles) to raise funds for people with spinal cord injury. The twist is I have decided I will swim the channel in all 110 local authority pools in London and three in France. That is an average of nine pools a week and 12 lengths in each.
