Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 23 May 2008

Help is still at hand

• I WOULD like to reassure residents that Islington Primary Care Trust and Islington Adult Social Services will continue to fund the Camden Mind tranquiliser service for the whole of 2008-09 (Forgotten addiction, May 16).
The service offers specialist support to people who are addicted to minor tranquilisers such as benzodiazepines for the relief of anxiety and sleeplessness. Islington residents can contact the service by calling the helpline on 020 7911 0816.
LAVAL LEBON
Strategy and commissioning manager for mental health, Islington Primary Care Trust and Housing and Adult Social Services
