Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 23 May 2008

Neighbour from hell

• I WANT to highlight the problems I have experienced for the past two years with a so-called “neighbour from hell”. I am a single woman living in a private housing block in Highbury. The stress of dealing with a particularly antagonistic neighbour has resulted in many sleepless nights. Eventually, I lost my job with a charity.

The row over a shared garden and shed has not been resolved. Police were called on one occasion after I was threatened.
I believe my housing association is not doing enough to solve this problem. Perhaps Islington Council could help?
I’ve asked for mediation meetings but none has been arranged.
