‘Ban these anti-teenager devices’

Islington’s Lib Dem Euro-MP Baroness Ludford this week launched a campaign to ban high-pitched devices used to disperse teenagers.
Using technology originally designed to scare away vermin, the Mosquito device emits a high-frequency buzzing sound which supposedly cannot be heard by people over the age of 25. In the UK, 3,500 have been deployed, often by shops. Baroness Ludford has called on the European Commission to ban sale of the devices.
