Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 9 May 2008

Wonderful day of fun

• I AM writing to let Tribune readers know about a fantastic free event happening at Archway Market and St John’s Church throughout Saturday, June 7.
You can have your child’s face painted and make a junk musical instrument, learn to juggle and play samba, see live music and cabaret, get advice and info from Aqua Terra, Archway Herbal Clinic, Community Kitchen and Dowe Gym, take part in rowing and backgammon competitions and the all-abilities, keep-fit class, listen to Holloway Jug Band and follow the percussion parade through the streets of Archway.
With the help of Islington’s Festival Fund and Regeneration, we are hosting this wonderful day of free activities for everybody. We’re really looking forward to it. Please do come along and take part in the fun.
Archway market is on the corner of Holloway Road and St John’s Grove every Saturday from 10am to 5pm, with a mini-market from noon to 6pm on Thursdays.
STEPHANIE SMITH
Archway Market manager
