Muggers’ haul of memories

A PRECIOUS photograph of a pensioner’s late wife was snatched in a mugging.
Two youths aged about 18 and wearing grey hooded jumpers attacked the 67-year-old victim in De Beauvoir Road, Islington, on March 15.
They knocked him to the ground and took his wallet and house keys before running off along the canal towpath towards Angel. The wallet contained only £20 but also held a photograph of the victim’s wife, who died recently.
Police are appealing to anyone who finds the wallet or photograph to hand them in to Islington police station.
