Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 14 March 2008

Missing places

• COUNCILLOR Ursula Woolley stated in the article about the closure of Andover Early Years Centre that Hornsey Road will have the same facilities and “residents will not lose out” (Parents in fight to save popular nursery from move to new site, March 7).
It is proposed that Mitford Children’s Centre move to Hornsey Road. It has 24 places and this will be expanded to 48. Andover currently has 54 places. This means that 30 places will be lost to residents due to this closure.
Jane Doolan
Branch secretary, Islington Unison
