Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 22 February 2008

Attorney General

• THE Tribune article (Prisoner overcrowding leads to chaos at court, February 15) states: “He added: ‘Vera Baird [Department for Constitutional Affairs minister] and her colleagues are all telling the public that the system is working, but it isn’t.’” Vera Baird is the Solicitor General and has been since June last and the words attributed to her are not hers.
Charlotte Phillips
Senior press officer
Attorney General’s Office, SW1
