Garraway swaps TV sofa for place behind bar

GMTV’s queen of the sofa Kate Garraway is practising her barmaid’s smile as she prepares to pull pints for a charity fundraiser at an Islington gastropub next week.
The Strictly Come Dancing star will be serving behind the bar and running a charity auction at North Star Gastrobpub, in New North Road, on Thursday to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Partygoers at the ticket-only event will bid for showbiz memorabilia, a dinner date at swanky eaterie Zuma and a day parachuting with the RAF Falcons.
