End-of-term halos all round

PROUD parents flocked to primary schools across Islington to watch their little ones star in the annual nativity play. Angels with tinsel halos, multiple Marys and Josephs and a surplus of donkeys roamed the stages as pupils sang and acted their way through the performances.
Children from Moreland, off Goswell Road, St Joseph’s in Highgate Hill, Hungerford, off Camden Road and Hanover primary schools, in Noel Road, Angel, had the chance to show off their amazing acting skills before breaking up for Christmas. Moreland headteacher Gordon Canning said: “What a pleasant way to end the term – joining together to hear the Christmas story and sing Christmas carols.”
