Schools’ buried treasure

A SURPRISE awaits any future archaeologists who dig under the Finsbury site of a new schools complex.
Excavations at the Golden Lane campus – which will house Fortune Park Children’s Centre, Prior Weston Primary School and the primary department of Richard Cloudesley School for pupils with physical impairment – will reveal time capsules buried by pupils.
Children from Richard Cloudesley and Prior Weston schools who will move into the buildings when finished have left capsules filled with their stories, pens and artefacts reflecting life today.
