Baseball bat attack

A MAN was beaten about the head with a baseball bat in what is believed to be a case of mistaken identity.
The 37-year-old victim had been shopping in Essex Road, Islington, when he was confronted by a man who accused him of “messing with my girl”.
When he reached Ecclesbourne Road, the man was waiting for him and beat him on his head and hand.
The victim was taken to Whittington Hospital in Archway for treatment to head and hands cuts.
