THE new area dean of Islington, the Rev Michael Learmouth, has pledged to improve communication between faiths.
Mr Learmouth, vicar of St Andrew’s Church in Thornhill Square, Barnsbury, takes up his new post on January 1.
He said: “Among my duties, particular areas of interest include tolerance, poverty and ensuring people from different faiths are able to make contacts within the borough.”
