Knifeman fought off

A SHOP assistant had to fend off an armed attacker with a chair.
CCTV images show the smiling faces of three men seconds before they launched a vicious attack on the assistant at a grocery shop in Stroud Green Road, Finsbury Park, on Sunday.
The men were caught laughing and chatting on mobile phones just moments before one of them lunges at the young assistant with a knife after she rejected his advances.
During the attack an accomplice stole two bottles of champagne.
