Kate Calvert
Artist takes Chicory challenge

LEADING Archway activist Kate Calvert has entered a competition which could earn her group up to £5000.
Ms Calvert, chairwoman of The Better Archway Forum, has entered a recipe for Chicory and orange salad into ‘The Chicory Challenge’, a competition to find new ways of using chicory.
The Chicory Challenge aims to raise the profile of chicory in the UK by encouraging the creation of new recipes.
Prizes of up to £5000 are being offered for the best three recipes, with the prize money going to organisations nominated by the winners.
Kate hopes that any money won by the Forum would be spent on light installations or other artwork in Archway.
