Delayed rebuilding

• IT is impossible not to agree with Martin Klute’s comments welcoming the £32 million government investment in the rebuilding of the Packington estate (Why MP is second best, August 24).
However, the need to rebuild the estate was announced in 2003. If the government is to address the housing crisis it is going to have to move a lot more quickly, even if that means working with the dreaded private sector.
