Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 24 August 2007

Children need love

• FOLLOWING Rose Hacker, I would like to say we might not need more hospitals, schools and prisons if our children were taught to respect their parents and themselves (Children are fighting for an education, August 17).
It is natural that, when reaching the age of 18, they want to do things off their own bat. But until then, while under the roof of parents, they must abide by the rules.
Giving material things to children is not the answer. Always loving our children is the answer.
EDWARD SCILLOE
Kelross Road, N5
