Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 17 August 2007

Key stage 2 pointers to success

• I WAS really pleased that Duncombe Primary School was just named the most improved primary school in Islington at key stage 2 this year.
This is a real achievement for the school, and says a lot about the commitment of the hard-working teachers who are making a real difference there. Congratulations are in order.
As a local mum myself, it is really important to know that our local school is continuing to get better and better.
We have to keep investing in our schools and get behind projects to improve them, like the opportunity to rebuild Ashmount School. That’s why I will use my position as a councillor to make sure that the Liberal Democrat administration follows through on all the good work it has done so far.
Hopefully next year the results from Duncombe will be even better.
CLLR JULIA WILLIAMS
Liberal Democrat, Hillrise
