There were spiders, and the mayor rode a donkey – that’s neigh word of a lie

A MENAGERIE of animals was centre stage on Saturday at the annual Gower School fête.
The event was held at Christ Church in Highbury and included a donkey, available for rides, and a scary tarantula. Other attractions included storytelling, face-painting and a bouncy castle.
There were celebrations, too, after the announcement that Gower School, in North Road, Holloway, raised almost £1,800 for good causes.
