Firm’s bid to restore landmark

A FIRM of electricians is offering to make a £2,500 donation towards the restoration of an Islington landmark.
Harland and Voss is asking anyone who lives or works in the area to nominate a building which needs restoration or help with its upkeep.
Any kind of building can be nominated as long as it is owned by a charity.
Sue Granik, director of business development at the firm, said: “We try to support London landmarks wherever we can. We know how much these hidden treasures mean to residents.
“We hope people who live or work in Islington can suggest a building where £2,500 can be well spent, and make a meaningful contribution to the area or the community.”
She added: “People can nominate any kind of building that needs help with its restoration, or its upkeep, or even where funds for a feasibility study are needed.” Nominations should be made via the dedicated links at www.harlandvoss.com.
