Passing doctor gives attack victim first aid

AN off-duty doctor came to the rescue of a man who was beaten up and dumped in the middle of Holloway Road.
The medic jumped into action when he saw the 28-year-old victim lying close to Waitrose on Friday night.
Witnesses say they saw up to three attackers punching the man and stamping on his head.
The doctor gave first aid until paramedics arrived and took the attack victim to Whittington Hospital in Archway.
He was later discharged.
The man had been drinking at the Beehive pub in New North Road and took a bus home but does not remember why the men attacked him or how he ended up in Holloway Road.
