Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 3 August 2007

Mugs, pots and kettles

COUNCILLOR Richard Greening is performing a public service when he criticises the council for wasting taxpayers’ money on publicity (‘They’re making mugs of us all’, July 27).
However, as a long-standing board director of the quango which is Homes for Islington, he stands accused of “calling the kettle black”.
His company has been far more extravagant in promoting its own image at our expense, yet on this he remains mute.
Come on, Cllr Greening, blow the whistle and clear your name.
