Missing invitations
• AS the NUT rep at Moreland Primary, I can say that no parent I have spoken to had an invite to the Islington Green consultation (If you hold a consultation and nobody comes, does it count? July 27). In the previous consultation, the group leader was unfortunately taken ill when it came to the meeting at our school so he missed the passionate case put by parents and staff against the proposed academy.
As our governors pulled out of becoming part of the Islington Green academy after it became clear it was not supported at Moreland, I feel we should be among the first to be consulted to ensure balance.
Could they be avoiding us?
