School’s top-class fundraisers

AN Islington private school has raised more than £1,500 for charity.
The Gower School, in North Road, staged a fundraiser in Caledonian Park which brought in £1,439 for the Liberty Foundation’s new Montessori school for orphans and disabled children in Belize. It has also raised £299 for Readathon, an annual charity event staged in schools nationally.
The school’s fete is staged tomorrow (Saturday) at Christ Church Highbury, in Highbury Grove, from 2.30pm.
