Park has character
• I WISH to express my real sadness at the news that EC1 New Deal for Communities is going ahead with the planning application to level Radnor Street Gardens (Leave our park alone, June 29).
It is an exceptionally beautiful park, with its great character being the undulating landscape where one can find a little privacy to read or sit quietly.
Why waste money destroying what is good? Braithwaite Park is not a very good example.
