Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 6 July 2007

How safe are buses?

• DO you feel safe on London’s buses? Have you ever witnessed a crime or anti-social behaviour while travelling on a bus?
Does the presence of CCTV make you feel safer? What do you think could be done to improve safety?
The London Assembly has launched an investigation into crime and anti-social behaviour on the capital’s bus network and needs your input.
We regularly hear that the daily experience of travelling on a bus is not as good as it should be for a world-class city, but we need to hear from Londoners so we can identify how to make things better.
Please write to Bonnie Jones, PP10, London Assembly, City Hall, The Queen’s Walk, London SE1 2AA, or email bussafety@london.gov.uk
The closing date for responses is Friday, August 24.
ROGER EVANS
Chairman, London Assembly transport committee
