Garden set to bloom

AN important garden project that has brought several generations of the Mildmay community together has moved a step closer to completion with a ground-breaking ceremony.
King Henry’s Walk Garden, N1 – backed by BBC Gardener’s World’s Joe Swift – will be a new green space created by the local community for the local community, breathing new life into a forgotten and neglected park. The project is part-funded and supported by Islington Council.
The Friends of King Henry’s Walk Garden committee is made up of 11 local residents and a representative from Islington Council’s Community Engagement team.
